better than matt paint but not better than stock.
if you just want the "look" (which i think is ghey) then get GTS blackouts or one of those molded plastic jobs that blackout most of the light except a pair of circles or whatever other design that's cut out. other than that your only going to HURT the performance of your headlights. Keep in mind that the stock 9003's are REALLY REALLY good headlights they're bright and long lasting. It's always been my opinion that if you mod something on your car the Performance of this part should be INCREASED not DECREASED. just my 2 cizents
