ok heres the static strip i was talking about... its attached to the bottom part of the chassis and the whole car gets grounded thus you dont get shocked.. and trust me i used to get shocked a lot... heres a very old pic of my car when i first got it without my stuff on it.... it shows the strip on the back left hand side of the car.... its better looking in person too.... its a lot thicker than the conventional stuff....heres the pic

daym, that's weird, i've seen that a lot and a friend of mine asked me what that strap is for, and i said that it's proabably a ground for static.........
