A soccer (well...there it's "football") firm is kind of like a gang, but not quite. Just about every team in Europe has a firm. They're kind of like an organized group of the team's biggest fans. They go to games, get crazy, and get into fights with other team's firms. Unlike candy ass pussy gangs in the states, they don't use guns or pull off drive-bys. So yeah...there you have it.
