let your car cool down, and get underneath. I beleive your filter is on the back center of the engine. Get a sme rags, and a water spray bottle (those ones that you pump a few times, then hold down the trigger and it sprays works really good.)

anywhere you see oil, clean it off. exhaust pipe, engine block, anywhere that gets hot.

as far as you might be toasting the clutch, make sure you are putting it in all the way, and letting it out all the way also. If you have a lazy foot, that might be the cause.

also, check to make sure your floor mat isn't in the way of the clutch pedal.
