If you want a rwd winter beater I would go with an SUV. Maybe like an older ford exploder (91-94)or a blazer or something. They seem to go a bit better in the snow than any rwd car I might suggest. The older ones you can keep in 2wd or in the event of getting stuck the 4wd is real helpful.
