it's because the h22 applies torque to the chassis in a different manner than the d or b series engines....
the chassis is NOT designed to take this engine... where as it WAS designed to take the b series engines... the weight does play a part but not much of one... at most it weighs another 50-100lbs over a b18 or 20.
