H22 and B18c swaps into civic....
I was wondering about handling after the h22 swap compared to after the b18c swap. I heard that after the h22 he civic wouldn't hadle as well...if i had sways, sablizers, and some good coilovers, woudl i really notice the handling difference between the b18c swap and the h22 swap?
remeber this is into a 95 civ hatch OPAK |
is the b18c stock?

search some stinkin google for once!

yea seriously... it's not like any of us knew the answers to ANY of the questions you're asking since we were born... it's called research... reading... learning...
try it. |
remember the h22 is a much larger motor compaired to the b18c and because its bigger should weight more. I dont know how much more, but yes you're right your front end will be heavier with the h22 dropped in there. Not to mention its a really tight fit. If i had a choice I'd drop the b18c in there, and not waste mytime and money with the h22.

The extra weight from the H22 will wreak havok on the front end of your civic. Best redo your suspension before you break ur car. |
it's because the h22 applies torque to the chassis in a different manner than the d or b series engines....
the chassis is NOT designed to take this engine... where as it WAS designed to take the b series engines... the weight does play a part but not much of one... at most it weighs another 50-100lbs over a b18 or 20. |
why the F*** is this in OT
oh wait...it keeps the business out of the civic section:thumbsup: |
