Windows

Ok...i've tried just about everything and my windshield and back window still drive me nuts. I can never actually get them clean. There is always a film left behind or they are streaky. Any suggestions?

i have some window cleaner called 20/20 eagle vision. removes everything, or you could try invisiglass. that works well too. use a rug when you spray and clean, and another wine for the final wipe off.

I use 20/20 also and it works well. Just get good rags. I usually use microfiber cloths.

go horazontaly on the inside and verticaly on the outside, so you can see what side is dirty or has the streaks, then use a lint free cloth and a streak free pure glass cleaner.

Remember not to use ammonia based cleaners on tinted windows!

Unless they are tinted, use warm Vinegar water.

INVISIBLE GLASS

That stuff works great. I would suggest wiping the windows down with a dry paper towel first to get teh nasty grime off. Then clean it with the Invisible Glass cleaner. You can use newspaper to help prevent streaks.

this might sound ghetto (and it is) but I only use vinegar and water on my windows. 50/50 mix. no streaks, no grease, no nuthin. just clean, clear...and only a slight smell that lingers for a day. but hell after that its fine in there and the pine tree shaped air freshener takes over again; fabulous "New car" smell

I had the same shit on my old Concorde, but only after I replaced my windshield when it got cracked.
Do you have aftermarket windows on the back and front?

I have the windows that Honda put on my car....I've heard the vinegar and water thing....I just didn't want my car smellin like vinegar, and i don't know how my vanilla pine tree air freshener will smell mixed with vinegar....I'll have to try it. Plain white paper towels...or what do i use to wipe them off??
