trying to pick a new muffler...
I'm trying to find a muffler for under $100 that'll give me better acceleration but not that loud ricer sound. Some friends of mine recommended a Delta Flowmaster 60 series, are they any good? One of my friends just bought a cheap Cherry Bomb II for 20 bucks at autozone, and he said he could feel an increase in acceleration, and im wondering if that would help me out at all too. I dont race, so i dont really need anything great. guess im going for half better acceleration, half better sound (not loud and obnoxious though) for as little money as possible. Any Suggestions?

You need new piping to see any gains.

a muffler on stock piping isnt loud....and you wont get any noticeable gains....your friend said it felt like he accelerated better because he THINKS its the truth. the butt-dyno is often wrong.
