problem wiv my civic, can u help?
its a esi (16v vtec).
if its been driven quite a bit, and it gets warm, it doesnt always start straight away. i try once, twice, three times, and it doesnt fire up, but then on my 4th time its fine. its only when its warm, and as soon as its fired up it goes fine! any suggestions? i.e engine prob, electrical prob?? no immobiliser if fitted |

hmmm, do u get spark when you crank it over ? i know in the US 90-93 accord there is a similar problem with the EFI relay

I've heard this is quite common amon the early/mid 90's Civics. I've known a couple people that have a hard time starting them in the summer if it's been really hot out. I think it was the ignition setup but I can't remember for sure.

I could have sworn I heard something up with the ignition systems and them being recalled. Check it up. I had a recall on my 98 ignition system a couple months back.
