Walk the walk not just the gadgets

I'm new but will moniter any reply i get to this post.
I have a 2000 Si with wheels and tires(big deal ,right)
Why do i see so many so called tricked out cars that make a lot of noise and can't drive through a publix lot(too low)Slow down for the turns?
Call me old but,I thought the point to a sports car was the corners!Thats what seperated us from the V8 guys.
I coulda had a v8
But enjoy feeling the corners more in my little honda.
Turbos,Nitrus,Great!If you can't use it in the turns why have a sports car?Just buy a GT with infitile large rear wheels and tires,like old the canadian cartoon(name escapes me)!
