tire problems

I have had several problems with putting a new set of tires/wheels on my 2000 ex coupe. After having my old wheels stolen, I decided to go a bit more conservative with 15" wheels. I purchased motegi mr7's at a local firestone and had 205/50/15 firehawk ss20's put on. The problem with this setup is the tires were rubbing on occasions in the rear end. The tire was supposively hitting the upper control arm. Has anyone heard of this? Is it the offset on the wheel or something firestone did or should I have my rear suspension inspected. It only rubbed when I was making turns up or down an incline when the rear end would drop quickly. I have not modified any of the suspension on the car, it is completely stock. any ideas???

btw: the offset on the mr7's is 35mm

that offset is horrendous. thats the problem most likely.
