Actual 1/4 Times?

Sup,
I was curious what kind of ETs yall are getting?

My last run at the track was as follows:

RT - .524
60' - 1.49@39.92
1/8 - 6.8@100.57
1/4 - 10.79@124.84

with ET street tires - soso traction. This is without nitrous (have a nice nitrous express kit sitting in the garage temping me to install it), full interior, full exhaust. So far my best run. Lets here some other 1/4 times.

Its running around 510HP N/A at the wheels and the body is around 3500lbs + driver. I will let you guess the car Im not 100% but with nitrous my calc ETs will be low 9s.

3500 lbs sounds like a nice F-body.

last year

11.4 @ 126

havent run this year but with 2.0+ liters, 25 psi and an 80 shot it should go places quickly

Could be a mostly stock viper w/full interior. Do we allow viper owners on this board?

Try a 67 Mustang Fastback (Shelby Clone). Full street car. It needs a new set of heads and a new intake. I do have a 94 supra (12s) thats how i found the board but the mustang is the car that i run. Cant beat 528Lbs of torque on the street. OK so enough about my car. How come nobody posted any E/Ts?

I have one... they aren't that accurate, but they are consistant so you know when you improve. The hp ratings aren't very accurate at all.

Hondamaniac, I haven't tried the full 1/4 with my car, but 15 flat seems extremely fast... was it in your accord? I get around high 7s, low 8s in the 0-60 part.

The mustang needs a new set of heads and is getting a new intake and carb at the same time. Im building my setup the same as someone i know. They are currently running 10.18s (N/A with ET streets) and i should have about 30HP over him once done. 9 secound NA with full interior doesnt sound bad to me . Besides the engine the only major real mods I have done are roll cage and traction/suspention. There is something fun about scaring all the drivers around you when you leave a light with the front wheels off the ground. By the end of the yr I should be putting down around 700RWHP.

I have tried the g-tech... its extremely inaccurate. For the price you pay definately not worth it. 15$ to goto the tract vs a few hundred for a gtech...

Oh yeah, also, its not good if you have a really fast car. The instructions say that motorcycles might be too fast for it, so your car might also be too quick...

The only reason that I have one is because I got it from someone on this board for cheap.

yes i tried in my accord, but something seems wrong once it measures 80 hp and 15 seconds for the 1/4 mile. i did not pay attention to the 0-60 but i think it was showing 7 something. i'll try it after i get the car fixed

I think the viper puts between 450-500 hp, but that might be engine. 3500 lbs; why I suggested it.

Blech vipers are over hyped slow cars. You need to put 150000$ into them to get a low 10sec car. NOT WORTH IT.

i drove quite a few vipers, and i think they can leave the vettes behind. and it's a differents feel of the car, a lot better than a vette, but hey i drove them for not even 1 mile, so i might be wrong.

and now to you statement, those $150k do include the price of the car, right ? cause otherwise you'd be better off with a civic
