Exclamation Joe P MBC and 9 psi

I installed the Joe P MBC tonight and set the boost to 9 psi. It was a pain in the ass because I had to keep adjusting it until I found out what was 9 psi, but I finally found it. At first I had a little pinging at 9 psi above 5K rpms. I then retarded the timing a bit and raised the static fuel pressure from 50 psi to 57 psi. The pinging went away! I was so stoked! The car pulls like a deranged psycho demon on crack!

I know what you mean, every time I make a right turn and romp on it, I have to straighten her out to stay off the curb

Welcome to the club man. It sounds like you are stoked about having your turbo on, finally. I know you have been itching to have it installed since you started posting a couple of months ago that you bought it. Are you about to install the Hondata 2b on it too?
