Job Interview.....

i have a job interview at future shop (sells home appliances, audio, video, etc.)...well similar to Best Buy in the states and best buy bought future shop (which was canadian owned)..and was wondering if you have worked at either Future Shop (for Canadian people) or Best Buy (for U.S. people) and what kind of questions they ask in the interview and what they look for.

if you kno..can you tell me...it'll be a big help..
cuz i'm always nervous during job interviews...

don't say more than you have to. that will keep your mumbling down. say enough to answer the question but don't start giving a speech.

agreed amd be yourself. Answer the questions not how you necessarily feel or what you agree with...but how the company would want you to respond.

You won't have a hard time getting a customer service job. Just be polite, but assertive, and I'm sure you'll be ok. You probably have a good idea of the answers they want to hear, so just feed them what they want.

dude nobody wants a job in CS. that is the reason i quit my job as a Computer technician at CSU. You will get to have a lot of dumb people there. i remeber one time i was doing CS and some lady calls me telling me that her computer won't turn on. So i ask her of she has power in her office. She answeres positively, then i ask her if the computer is plugged in. At this point she is getting pissed off " What do u think i'm dumb ? Do you think i can't plug in a fuggin computer dumbass ? who in hell is paying you to tell me this crap ? " So i have to send a technician and see wassup. when he comes beck he tells me that the computer wasn't pluuged in at all. Well i made a note on the problem so she won't get service for 2 years. Now who is the Dumb ASS ?

actually i'm taking a class on giving speeches, but we had a short thing on interviewing, and i got this sheet on the most commonly asked interview questions and how to answer them. It'd probably be really helpful, so if you want you can get at me on AIM (StickyFingaz845) although i'm not on alot... or my email bludger88@hotmail.com

so true, i work with customers all day, ... i'll break it down

out of every 10 customers you get, 1 will be nice, 2 will be mean, 3 will be utterly confused, and 4 will try to help you but in actuallity are making your job harder than it has to be

my interview is tomorrow at 2pm Eastern Standard Time....

i just wanted this job b/c i've had great experiences at this place...and maybe if i do get the job, i could get some audio stuff for my car there
plus i kno i will deal with rude and very unintelligent customers, but i think i'm ready for it since i've worked at mcdonald's and at this pharmacy and i've dealt with customers many times and always it has been "customer satisfaction"
