i have a 93 civic coupe i want to add a dual exhaust system. not a true dual exhuast but just a look of one beacuse i am getting a black widow rear bumper and it has two rear cutouts for the mufflers.is this possible and if so what are the pros and cons. my car is strictly show no racing.

Well if you want to get dual exhaust for your civic why not?? You can...it is possible to throw it on...i've seen it on a civic before...looked pretty neet if you ask me. And if yours is just for show then who cares about lost back pressure.

Its easily done. But I wouldn't do it unless your getting that kit, imo.

he said he doesnt want true dual exhaust, so he wouldnt be losing any backpressure, but yeah duals look best with the BW rear bumper. go for it.

Theres a civic around here with a kit and duals.. The only real downside I could see to it is the extra weight, but thats about it really.

I have a Ground Designs 2000 Black Widow body kit on my 93 coupe. The one problem with the rear bumper replacement is that the exhaust cutouts are a little tricky. For example the cutout on your stock bumper is about 1.5 inches further to the right than the Black Widow cutouts. So any cat back exhaust isn't going to be centered in the cutout of the black widow kit. It took some serious agrivation and cutom work to get it to be perfect so having to do it twice just doesn't seem worth it. And if you just say screw it and leave in uncentered you will find that your exhaust tip will chip away at the right side of the cutout and ruin your new paint.
