2-Year Dealer Service; Antifreeze Brand
Please excuse the questions, for I'm sure they've been asked zillions of times. But I'm new at this.
Is the dealer 2-year service at $400 worth it? It seems he's barely spending $25 on parts. Also, what brand of antifreeze should I use when I change mine? The Honda stuff is way too expensive, but they say use it or your car be damned in the future. What should I do? Thanks all! |

The maintenance done during the first your is critical.. After that, it isnt really worth running to the dealer.. Just do the suggested elsewhere..
for antifreeze, I use a generic brand.. And so do most of my friends, never had a problem.. Its a good idea to flush it once in a while though.

don't believe everything honda says. if it would be after them your windshield will melt if you don't use GENIUNE HONDA WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID
it's reccomended that you use their power steering fluid tho, otherwise your gaskets might suffer. what is included in this service ? I never owned a new car
