more cars to watch for

not exactly a fan of the new camaro

and the man who brought the short lived Hugo and Subaru over to America is planning on bringing Chinese motors over to the US in the near future to compete with the expensive luxury car market. because labor is so cheap, they are offering "luxury" style vehicles under or around 20,000

Geely

and

Chery (although the name will be changed because Chevy says it sounds too much like their make)

Chery M14

I'm already sick of the whole "retromod" craze. I kinda liked the new Mustangs (although I'm not the biggest fan of those, either) then the Dodge Charger came out and I was like "hey...deja vu. Looks just like the Mustang". Then I saw the plans for the Dodge Challenger and went "ok...seriously". Now the Camaro concept. Ugh. Chevy narrowly outsold Ford for the first time in 20 years (largely driven by Trailblazer sales) and now they think they've got the clout to start ripping off their designs. I guess Dodge is doing it too...but no one pays attention to Dodge.

If I want a car that looks like an old car, I'll go buy an old car.

First off, F-CK chinese cars and anyone in America that buys one.

That said, I like the new Challenger design and the new Camaro. Not that I think I'll be able to afford either or be able to convince myself to buy a domestic car.

The Charger was such a disappointment. I was really hoping they would have tried harder on that.

Yeah it is, and that's what Darin mentioned.

Addict, was it really necessary to say all that?

I agree China makes shitty cheap products, do you really think they can now all of a sudden pull off a whole car? I don't think so.

I'm sick of countries that pay their people pennies trying to infiltrate all their shitty products into our market, and I'm sick of the companies in our own country who out source their crap over there.

They make so much shit that I dont even know which one is good or not.

Most of Walmart shit is Chinese made.

The only thing I dont like about China is what they said now about not doing shit to the Iranian Nuke project. Other than that, I think that China has some decent products.... I just dont know about their cars tho........

I wouldn't buy a Chinese car if you paid me to drive it. They just don't pay their workers enough to make quality stuff. I've seen a TON of chinese-sourced crankshafts give up the ghost way before their time. If I made $0.50 an hour I probably wouldn't care either. That...and those cars look gay as hell.
