pre-trip inspection

Post what I should look at before leaving or suggestions...

I already know tire pressure and I am changing the oil the week before I leave... Any other tips?

i dont want anything happenin on my way to golf.

Belts, tires, hoses, and oil, mainly. I always keep a toolbox behind the seat in my truck with an extra belt and a tire repair kit (along with jumper cables, a breaker bar, blah blah blah) just in case.

check all the fluids in your car. check for nails in your tires, i went and got some new tires and i had a total of 13 nails in my tires.

they were loosing air slowly. most of the nails were those small skinny nails,a few were regular size. i couldnt believe i had that many nails and didnt have a blow out.

yeah tell me about it, in mmy area (south brevard county near the Kennedy space center, where we had signifigant huuricane damage) every body is redoing thier roofs, and they are careless about clean up, those dmn roof nail get everywhere. i had one or two in a cv joint, dont know how it got there!
