Is this a good Price?
Date: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:08 PM
>We can supply you with the engine you requested for >the total cost of $2750.00 for 2.2L Prelude engine with H22A1 engine type >of which $350.00 is a core deposit. That is "REFUNDED" with a >rebuildable core. > >The warranty for the engine is >3 years or 50,000 Miles. > >Please feel free to call us Toll Free at 1-800-200-3644 with any >questions you might have. > >In order to service our customers better we would appreciate your >comments on our service as well as why or why not did you purchase > from West L.A. Engine. Is that a good price or is it ridiculous. I don't know bout this engine stuff. Help me out here. I'm seriously considering doing this swap |

i don't know bro but you can get a jdm h22a for 2300. The kit has the complete engine, tranny ecu and the drive shafts.
www.jdm1.com take a look at them too.

I agree. I'd look into it further, or just go for it.

I will get a lot of flak for this I know, but JDM for an H swap is overrated. I'm not even in SoCal and I can get and engine, ecu, tanny, axles, etc for $1800, no core, usually less than 50k miles. Even with the "warranty" and I'd love to see the fine print on that, one has to wonder about an almost $2800 tag. And why is refunded in quotes...?
My 2 cents is shop around, that seems like too much money. |

Wow, $1800 sounds great. I didn't realize you could score an H22 for that cheap. Well, like Demoic said, shop around before you buy then!
