New job

not much..alls i do is stock shelfs at a grocery store. but i make a shinny penny. 9.50 an hour for 8 hours. not bad at all. i figure why not sence im up all night and sleep all day and can barely work during the day. (too tired)

The landscape crew I was working with was paying me $10 an hour as a Foreman (in charge of a group of Mexi's), but they didn't pay overtime at all. GRrr...

^ damn.. i did that last year. same type of work and i was 11.50 an hour. but i sick of the stupid mexis not working. so i quit after 1 month of ok pay in shitty hot weather.

damn dude...Ive been doing the same summer job for 4yrs and I get paid the same amount as you (no raises...)
Im beginning to think it sucks because I sweat my ass off during the day and I bet you dont...
I should find a night stocking job...

Congrats on the new job man. I remeber when i use to make about that. $9 an hour at discount tire.


Now i make 3 times that! (sorry shameless plug)

its easy working at night. nobody is ever in the store. its so quite. do whatever you want say whatever you want. so much better.

haha YEa, it's gonna be great. I remember I made $13.00 an hour at Des Moines Asphalt and paving as a laborer. That sucked balls though, cuase in addition to being in 90+ degree weather plus humidity, you had to be around tons and tons of 300+ degree asphalt mix...at least I made 8,000 bucks that summer.
Now I just work at a Gas Station(Quiktrip) and make 8.15/hr.
Congrats on your new job bro. let me know when you don't work so we can do shiet

not bad at all, I just could never see myself working at a grocery store. But I hear you on the empty store being awesome, when we close its all out since ai work with a bunch of goofs. I mean we get farting and just hilarious shit over the store intercom after those doors shut.
