Coming home saturday night w/ my apprentice in tow in his Turbo LS. We exited the 101 next to Warner Bros.

We hit a couple lights and I scoped out this 740 BMW... and he was granny'n it w/ his girl.. no biggie so I nodded and moved on. I motioned for 'degradated' to get next to me (turbo ls) and this beemer 3 series cuts him off and gets next to me.

I started to go at the green and gave a nice little BOV into second. Not knowing if they were gonna go. All of the sudden this car hunkers down as these guys pull a cheap shot and take off full boar....

I nailed the gas in second.. turbo spooled up and by the end of second I had about 1/2 a lengh on them. I shifted at 8k, BOV'n them and once in third... 'degradated' said it looked like about 6-7 lengths I put on them....

At the next light they wouldn't pull even with us. My cohort and I rolled on tward home where he got a chance with a 95ish z28 and stayed pretty even with the guy from a roll... he's young but he is learning the ways of the darkside.

I dunno but some beemers are just slow. I took a 528i with my accord. After that you should have heard lame excuses fom him
