how hard is it
how hard is it to put on shocks and coilovers.....am i goin to be able to do it myself or am i goin to have to take my car somewhere?

depends on your level of expertise and available tools. It is fairly simple. It may take some time, and make sure you have a suitable area (large open area, flat, level surface)

basic tools (ie ratchet's and sockets), ability to take your wheels off (preferably both so you can see how everything goes in on the other side while you do one side), spring compressors are nice although you don't necessarily need those.

^that about covers it
you'll wanna get that spring compressor from autozone (just a deposit needed) to get the top mounts off...kinda a pain if ya dont have it (but large vice grips also work ![]() the right size allen key is needed too (do NOT use one that "kinda works" no i dont know what size it is...) If youre goin from oem suspension things will be stuck, put some heat on it...that will help. Have plenty of penetrator on hand as well. Its easy |

it's not that hard to do, but i did suspensions on hondas for the past 2 years. it's an easy thing

took me about 15 minutes to swap each one. It would be a good idea to have air tools, things will go much quicker. I had no problems when I did mine, but we had a problem with my friend's hatchback, the top strut bolt seized, and wouldn't break for nothing. This is why you must have the right size hex key.
