you keep saying "muffler" I do hope that youre just saying that and meaning full catback exhaust. Just a muffler is totally pointless

yes...save for the "whole shibang". Custom piping from a decent shop (NOT midas/mineke/tuffy/etc) would only run you a couple hundred.

online shop that does piping for cheap, several sizes and materials for the pickings, good quality as well...just need a muffler, which they also sell. Id do them before I ever thought about goin to midas

right, catback custom.

I would seriously invest in a resonator for it as well. That typical "fart" or "buzz" sound that you hear from lots of exhausts comes from not having a resonator and/or cat converter. though resonators do cost more money (what doesnt?) they're a worth-while investment for the daily driven vehicle.

whats the difference between Resonator and a resonator tip?

plus what exactly do they do?

cost is pretty high for something i know nothing on.

thanks ben

resonator is just what it sounds like...its a resonance tube within the exhaust bpipe. Makes exhausts mellow and smooth sounding rather than annoying and buzzy

resonator tips...well thats the same thing, but at the end of the muffler (oval/stock style usually)
