the edelbrock is so damn complete its rediculous...50state legal
greddy kit is nice as well, but comes w/o all the bells and wistles of the edelbrock kit (which is why its 1/2 the cost)...not 50state legal I have really really thinking of getting the edelbrock kit lately...175whp is nothing to sneeze at. |

GReddy is cheaper and i do agree with the price to component ratio of that edelbrock kit. U get so much crap with it! I think with the intercooler, Management Unit (other than an FMU!), intake manifold with secondary fuel rail......... that is an awesome deal! Not to mention that the turbo is bigger than a Trust/GReddy TD04h-15g.
Anyway, I've met many people, decent and big time tuners who went from a JRSC Honda to a Turbo Honda just to satisfy themselves.... nuff said.... |

If you start off with the kit's stock boost set-point, then you do not need anything else. That is why it is a complete kit. You boost any higher than that, then I say get a high volume fuel pump. You'll need tools and sealant during the install. You must take your time. Get a turbo timer and an A/F ratio gauge (acurate only at WOT).....

right, since the kit tops out at 6-7psi you dont need a fuel pump.
I was talking to edelbrock's representative over on honda-tech, and this is what he says about upping the boost (just to clear up some misunderstandings) Marauder, "Its not meant to be adjustable. But, a manual boost control valve, you can raise it to 9psi safely. Anything more than that, and you'd need the electonic boost controller and hand held controller from Link Electrosystems. Then you can adjust boost and program the 4 extra injectors. And if you want their link....http://www.link-electro-usa.com/ They don't show their electronis boost controller on the website, but give them a call and they can give you the details. Also, the piggyback with the Edelbrock kit doesn't have a hole for the handheld control modual, so you just need to remove the cover and make a hole in it, the piggyback is able to be adjustable, given you buy the extra equipment." |
