opinion question....

hey, I'm jus about to go get my car painted...i have an lx so everythign is black..i was thinkin about gettin the side skirt and side moldigns painted...wasnt sure about the handles or side mirrors..what do u guys think....will teh side skirts get scratched up bad...????

get everything painted.......even the license plate bezel on the trunk.

your sideskirts wont get scratched up at all unless you drive through pebbles or like a maniac or careen into things......get the chrome trim around the windows removed or sprayed black too.

what about the door handles, won't they like get scracthed up everytime i open my car or something???

Eh, not if you don't rack your keys against them or something. Just be careful and get everything painted.

why would they get scratched just because you pull them up? do you have razors embedded into your hands or something?

the ex's (well my gen) comes with all that jazz painted... not the sideskirts or body molding though... I like it like that... I'll eventually get a paint job but when I do those are stying black... as is the little bit of the bottom of the front bumper...

I think the cars lines get too washed out with everything painted... and it's also harder to get a good job with all the trim on... just my .02.

yeah get the trim painted too but make sure it's painted separately from the car and use like bumper primer on it, not the regular primer. and you won't scratch them

i'm having a hard time getting a good job, i think i need to remove my trim to better my job opportunities!!!!
