If you're tight on your budget, the regular KYB's are very decent and reliable. I know somebody who has been running his for at least 2 years without problems. He uses it for both street and track with his GC. I have the KYB-AGX (fully adjustable) with GC and very much happy with it. The set only cost me $310 shipped. The AGX has a 4-way adjustable on the front and 8-way on the rear.

what's the dif between coilovers and shocks...? i was under the impression that coilovers just had the spring around the shock. what would be the dif between going with a coilover, and buying shocks and springs seperate?

Fully Adjustable Coilovers= struts and springs together and designed as "one unit". Height adjustability and strut firmness

Coilover Sleeves= are just springs sitting on top of a threaded sleeve for height adjustability

Shocks and struts are the same. It is a different component of the suspension system.

just to clarify a bit. the stock suspension is a "coilover shock" setup... but when people say "coilovers" they mean a performance suspension system with mated components. like detailed above...

the springs you get will mount over the shock/struts... but they're not "coilovers"...

ya feel me...

Oh and to add something more helpfull..

I had kyb gr2's and they lasted for EVER and never gave me so much as a hiccup in performance...

I loved them with my eibach prokit springs on my last car.

adjustability is good and all but most only set it once and maybe set it more aggesive everyonce and a while for fun... so imo it's kinda pointless (I guess it's good to be able to pick the dampening of the shock so you're not stuck with too soft or too hard out of the box.) unless you race... even then most people don't really know how to tune a supsension anyway... so again... kinda pointless imo.

normal springs and struts should do you just fine...

and those koni yellows are supposed to be the S.

hey Hondaman,
I was just checkin out your site, looks like it's still in the process of being updated. Anyway, I noticed that you have tokico listed in the shocks/struts section. Are you going to start selling them?

I'm going to be doing my suspension pretty soon and am pretty sure that I'm going with tokico illumina shocks and eibach prokit springs.

if you could hook me up with a deal on that it would be pimp.

e-mail me or PS me and we can figure it out, there's a few other things I want but I'll try to keep the focus of this post on suspension.
