brakes squeeling like a mofo!?!?!

ok i am getting very pissed off. My drivers side front disc brake is squeeling like a mother f***er. I bought some brake cleaner and sprayed the shit out of the disc and calipers and components and it still is very persistent to squeeking and squeeling. I don't have time to take my wheel off or even lift the car because i am expecting to go out to camp any time soon here and i want to get rid of the noise first. I am very serously considering just taking it to a mechanical place and getting the brake system looked at because i THINK i might need new pads anyways. I need an oil change too but i have NO TIME and it rains like every day. F*** me i hate my life today...grrrr. Plus i only have like $130 cdn, til i get paid. So taking my car in would be like 100bucks...AAHHH. what should i do?

It's probably your squeelers, and you need new pads... You should be able to do it yourself for like $30. If you take it to the shop, it will cost you at least $120..

When the breaks start squeaking, you should still have enough pads to last you awhile. All it is is a piece of metal on the pads that rub against the disk when the pads are worn too low. However since only one of the pads are squeaking I'm guessing the others are still ok (although they'll probably start squeaking soon too) you can probably still drive for a month or two.
