Happiest Guy in the world

Well i went to bed last night with the biggest smile on my face, why?

cause i got to drive a wrx last night, it had a upgraded turbo (VF34), HKS Blow off valve, HKS Electronic valve controller, and a water misting system for the intercooler, and HKS Cat back exhaust with titanium/carbon muffler.

Its my girlfiends sisters boyfriends car and he finnally let me drive it last night on the streets and highway. every time i shifted and the blow off valve went phssssst i giggled...

what s*cks though is that this supra which ive never seen before pulled up next to me and punched his gas to tell me he wanted to race, so i downshifted and started to give it gas, but the supra went flying past just a little bit faster... that supra was little faster than the wrx, so about two minutes later the supra pulled into a off ramp and i ws beside him and i saw that the side (front quarter panel had a limited edition badge (not knowing anything about supras i have no idea what this means) but i can tell that it wasnt stock and had some major extensive work done on it..

but besides that i went to bed dreaming of blow off valves and hearing the Phssst sound in my sleep....

Wow, you deserve a cookie Just kidding, glad you enjoyed it so much. The SE badge didn't mean anything, just that it was an anniversary edition (I believe). You should have asked the Supra to race from a stand-still. You would have probably had them...

Actually i was telling this story about 5 minutes ago to a coworker and he used to go to school with the guy who drove that supra, he said its a 97 limited editon, so i went online and looked them up and they look exactly like the one i saw last night. stock bhp=320 but this one had aftermraket exhaust and who knows what else.

look at this ebay action for the right to buy a 2004 subaru wrx sti, notice i said the right to buy.

either the bidders in the history are stupid or the dealer is jacking up the price to try to fool someone and ripp them off. cause in the bid history all the bidders are with zero feedback.

i think you can report them somehow, but it's not fraudulent. they say everything about what you are buying, it's the bidders that have the heads up their asses and don't read everything

A kid at my school eBay'd his spot on a hart-to-get-into class at my school, I think he got like $300 for the spot.

Yea, my friend (actually Spazzum's best friend) owns a WRX that's running in the mid 12's (upgraded turbo, body kit, brakes, wheels, a few other goodies). He won't let me drive it :\ But I did get to drive his ol' Steeda Mustang (another 12 second car). Unfortuently, since WRX trannies suck, he blew his (even though he was using launch control). It's being replaced with an STi tranny.

This is off topic, but why is it that cars that some of you see as so AWESOME I just disregard them as "blah". I mean, some people make such a big deal out of Supras. I see several every day, many of them in the 400~600hp range. And then some people are like "I spotted a WRX today..." I don't know, just doesn't seem like cars like that phase me very much. Then again, I do back-flips when I see nice BMW's or a Ferrari 355/360. I don't know, to each his own.

Ducky...i think it depends alot on what sort of cars someone is used to seeing daily. For me, i go crazy when i see a Supra because there is NONE around the parts where i live. In fact i've only seen ONE in the 94 range and up and that was in Switzerland and it wasn't twin turbo. I love supras, its all it hink about. I seen a VERY nice and CLEAN 96ish integra the other day. It had a nice body kit, white 17" 6 spoke rims, CF hood, hood pins, dark tint all around and a very nice red paint job. It was lowered and very cool. Around my area, there is not very many modified cars. I live in a truck town where everyone gets crazy lift kits and huge tires on their trucks.

That's very true. There aren't too many nicely hooked up trucks, they are rather rare. Something that I found interesting, I finally found the website for the tuner shop in my little town (Titan Motorsports is only 10 minutes away, this one is like within walking distance). They apparently did Hulk Hogan's son's Supra (ick) and worked on Jesus Rivera's Supra (I got in a ride in his 600hp GSX). Anyway--> http://www.autotuner.org/customerscars.htm
