What is that lump for on the Eclipse hood... only some models have it... it's on the driver side of the hood... I don't know eclipse that well.. but looks like a 99 model... just curious.

it was for the valve cover to clear(with the 4g63), until they put it on even the RS and GS which the engine sits the other direction.
