![]() What size tire do you all run on 17" rims for your accord. There are 4 recommended sizes; some being alot wider then stock and I don't want to reduce speed w/ wider tires. The closest to stock is a 205/45-17, but they don't make em' in the tire i want. The next closest is a 235/40-17, but it's alot wider then i think i'd like.

205/40-17 is what came with my wheels cause they were used, and those are the exact symtoms I have right now. If you catch a groove in the road, does your car almost yank in that direction? |

thats normal.. high performance tire = better "feel" of the road..
Also if the road is lower on one side, you're ride will proabably have a tendancy to pull towards that side.. Its much more noticeable with lower profile tires.. I once drove a friend's M3 sitting on 30 profile tires.. LoL, that steering wheel was going crazy.. Sorry I dont have any pics of tires.. But why do you want a pic anyways?? between 40 and 45, there'S barely any idfference, and if you want an aggressive look you going with something like the Parada..

Yea, Dunlop FM901. I have a set right now and I love them. They came with the rims from a civic and they are 205/40-17's(which are not the recomended profile for my car; too small) and they are worn pritty bad, but they handle like a charm.
Also, for anyone has done no handling mods, I would highly recommend larger rims and lower profile tires. It took tons of roll out of my car. It stays on an even plan through turns now. |

I have 205/40-17 too. Enkei rims and Yokohama tires. The tires suck. There is an enormous bubble in one of them right now and other than that, I have replaced 2 other tires. I just took my car out of storage a month ago and am looking for new tires. Something in a 205/45-17. If I get a flat tire, my body kit is on the ground. |
