Radio code?
Whats up people. I helped out my father today by putting in a new battery in his 2000 Honda Accord EX today. After installing it, we started the car and now the radio wont work. It spit out the CD that was in the player and now the display says "code". What's the code? Where can I get this code? Obviously this is the factory radio and I believe the keyless entry is in the radio head. My dad is pissed since he cant get his dose of talk radio. Any help would be apreciated! Thanks guys. Ohh BTW, he bought the car factoty pre-owned from the dealer. No manual.

Actually, that happened to me. I had to call the dealership to get the code and then I just had to punch it in on the numbers on the radio that you would hit to select a preset station.

Thats what I asked and he said that wasnt the case. At least for the 2000 Accord. He said that I have to bring in the code to any dealer and they have to do it.

Hmmm. Weird. My bad. A long time ago I had some body work done on my car. I have that ILOCK thing where you have to waive the little wand in front of the little disk or the car won't start. I told the moron that was fixing my car about this. But, he didn't listen and went messing with the battery thinking that was the problem and that's what messed me up. First, I called Honda and they said that have to charge me $50 just to bring it in because the service people would "have to locate it" somewhere within the car internally. But she said if they had it on file for whatever reason then that wouldn't be the case. So I just did it myself and put the code in. Did you find the code anywhere on the car yet?

Hmmm. Maybe stank bush can somehow convince the code to come out of the car if she sits in there for long enough. J/K. So you didn't get a manual either? I don't have one to this day and I've had the car for like 3 yrs. I always see them on EBay though. Do you know if they'll just give you one at the dealer?
