Turbo Integra vs. Turbo Integra

I was heading home one afternoon about a month ago, and taking one of my friends to his house, driving up a very crowded Sepulveda Blvd (over the hill).

I'm in the right lane and about half way up this white integra rolls by me. The guy gives me that snooty look like he's disgusted by my stock looking Integra w/ a nice big tach, exahust and clear corners. I guess he must have thought I was a poser.... so he does it again.

Not being one to be intimidated, I rolled up and ask him if he wanted to race. So he says "wanna race for pinks?" I just laughed at him.. and asked him what he had... he responds with "I'm stock".. what do you have....

I told him I had a turbo and fully built bottome end... to which he replies "bullshit, your stock.. rev your engine". Like ANY TURBO SAVY person should know.. unless you have a really small turbo, it won't Blow-off without engine load. SOOOOOOoooo I rev...

Again he says "bullshit your stock"...

I got over in front of him, made a U-turn heading south on Sepulveda (no traffic).. and stopped in the middle of the street. He moves over next to me and gives me a nod... So, I dumped it as 3500.... ripped up the damn pavement as I put one lenght on him.. spinning all the way through second putting another length on him... barking third hard putting another length or so on him... pulling into 4th at 8k putting YET ANOTHER lenght on him...

After I let him catch up he starts telling me that he is turbo, doing some blow-off's and shit... so I had him pull over inot a gas station while I got gas.. (and fixed an I/C pipe)... Starts telling me how VTEC isn't good for a turbo and that LS is the way to go. bla bla bla....

He shows me his car and it had a rev hard turbo kit and if I reemmber right, about 6-7psi, exhaust and no other real mods.

Then I showed him my car... he drooled all over it once he realized that I wasn't bullshitting him when I told him I was built with a turbo (and other shit)...

hmmmm I guess I should have raced for pinks.. then I'd have a beater car...

If your gonna front boys... just make sure you can back up the shit talking...
