snow...

Well tonight on the way home, i naild a snow drift that was across the road at about 25 mph. It totally blew apart my front bumper apart, which i just got my car back about 4 months ago...
And it happened about 2 miles from my house. When i finally got pulled out of the ditch and drove home, when i took the last corner what remained of the front bumper got caught under the right front wheel and tore off what was left. So now my car has nothing for a front bumper

alright, i just had to vent

I'd go on EBay if I were you for a bumper. I'm sure everyone knows this already though. You can get amazing deals on there. I got all pissed off because I saw my kit on there once for about 400.00 less than I paid for it.

I did that a few weeks ago. And landed in this weird little ditch near a hill thing. It was confusing.

The Neon is fine. It's like a little tank. That looks like an Easter egg. I use it still for garbage can bowling and it doesn't dent or anything.

Glad to hear nothing bad happen to you and only the car was damaged. The best way i've figured on learning to drive in bad conditions is to goto a parking lot with lots of snow and ice and race around. It helps you to get to know how your car will react to different inputs, not to mention its fun. Its made me a better winter driver I'll tell you that, and once you know how your car reacts on ice you'll really start hating ABS and traction control.. grr

O/T but does anyone know how to turn ABS off?

Thx guys! I was thinking about putting the black widow 2 front bumper on there with the black wido one kit, what do you guys think?

Glad tp hear your ok hondaman. The first year i drove my truck in the winter, it still had the 4.3 engine in it, and i had no problem at all kicikin it sideways, this one time when i took a corner i gave it a little to much gas and did a 180 and slammed into the center divider... its scary not having any control over whats happening.

Rob, belive it or not when i first got my car i did that. Except last night i couldn't see the drift because of all the snow blowing across the road, and by the time i did see it and tried to break it was to late, i felt the front hit and watched a pice of my bumper come up over me...
