New World Trade Center (??)

this concept is by a Montreal design group.. It will most likely be eliminated in the next round, since it lacks "wow factor", even though its the most efficient, space saving, stable design...

I know but i dont think they should put 3 towers instead of two...i think they should keep the same concept of the twin towers but thats just my opinion...

I personally like the first one. I think they should build it with 3 towers.. Its bigger! Plus, IMO, all three of them could represent unity, since they are connected together. Which is kinda what happened (atleast for a little while) after 9/11. I personally like the first one.

um.....yah i'm not a huge fan of any of them. The first one (the one originally posted) I do like the concept cuz it's sorta like a "protective" barrier for the twin towers that went down....and then the other 2 are cool lookin and would look awesome in a huge new city...but NY is an old city and I think the buildings should embody some of that historical meaning. Right now I think all the designs that have been posted are gonna be huge monstrosities to the NYC skyline. Sure I'm the first to get drawn to real modern stuff...but I just think the new WTC would mean a lot more to "Americans" if it still embodied some of the Twin Tower's personality and had some historical NYC meaning behind the design. Just my opinion though.

what, americans choosing something efficient? they won't hear of it! That triplet design is an awesome idea, but because its a good idea it wont be used.

yeah...even though thats pertty gay...you're probably right...
I think it's time for something new...
the US needs a more modern look in it's bigger cities.
And i think an outragious building would be best for all americans.

now that i realize what the three towers are actually doing i support that idea bc its kinda cool the barrier that they set up it actually gives meaning to the idea unlike the rest
