wow! whats wrong with people? I almost got jacked!
Tonight I went for an evening ride around 10:00. It was snowing out and my wipers were having some trouble cleaning the windshield...its been a problem as of late...so I headed over to meijer to get some new ones. The lot was pretty empty so I practically had my choice of parking spots...I chose one toward the front and under a light (so I could remember where I was
 ).After buying my blades I headed out and there was someone standing next to my car with their back facing me, a running car was also sitting close to my car at an angle facing the opposite direction (a white avenger that I've seen often before). As I walked closer I saw that the person (a guy maybe 17yrs old) was trying to get my door open! First, Im like WTF?! These kids are trying to get into my car...right under a light at the front of the lot (...so I figured they werent too smart, but Im still shocked as f*ck) Then...I got this great idea... I calmly walked closer and asked "'sup man, havin trouble gettin into your car? Did ya lock the keys in it?" the kid turns around (this is what I wanted so I could get a look at him for a description in case he escaped!) and says "oh yeah man I sure did...isnt that stupid of me?" "Oh man yeah that shit does suck...happened to me once and I even left the car running at the time" I said "Is there something I can do to help?" he then responds "yeah if you could go inside and tell someone at the counter to call my house and get my keys that'd be great..." he started to tell some phony number when I said "Oh, no...I got a better idea...how about I use my keys..." I pulled out my keys and hit the remote unlock button. Of course my car beeped and as soon as it went off the kid ran to the avenger and the car drove off like a bat outta hell...I mean FAST... I didnt catch the license number because they had one of those dark plastic shields over it...but I do know the car and I got a good look at the kid trying to get into my car. I went into meijer and told the guard...who in turn called the police. The cop came and I gave a description of the kid and the car...meijer also looked over the surv. tapes from right before I came in and gave a copy of the tape to the cop. I cant believe this happened to me...my car was almost broken into...IN MEIJER PARKING LOT!! I didnt have anything really in view for theft except my alpine deck...thats probably what they wanted either that or just f*ck with the car... what kind of punk ass stupid moronic f*cks mess w/ a car in a monitored parking lot?! did they actually think that people would be in there for very long at that time of the night?! God i hate this...I hope these kid gets caught and the driver taken to Juv hall |

Omg dood, I got pissed off just listening to your story. I would've gone back into the store, gotten something heavy and would have jumped his ass.

yah wow that totally sucks. At least you and your car are both unharmed. That was an awesome plan that you had...I don't know that I would have thought of that. I probably just would have walked up to him and my car and would have been like "Get the F**k up off my car" either way he'd still feel like an ass i'm sure.

 phew i was getting scared already have to worry bc there is high theft around me that was just another add on! Glad everything is ok with ur car and urself. Both of my best friends cars have been broken into in the last 6th months one has been broken into twice the others car has been completely stripped and then after the whole insurance bit his stuff was replaced but then someone in his sub division stole his headlite covers!! Those ppl suck! |

actually i would have gone in before i said anything to the guy and had the cops called immediately but at least you didnt get stabbed, or shot, cause you never know these days of age...
you handled it well though... good job...i woulda been mad as hell |
