Check Nada.
It doesnt matter if there is a demand.. All the bank cares about is what it books for.

Demand doesn't matter when buying a car? The person selling it determines the price, not the bank. What about when the S2ks were new and they were going for over retail in some areas? Maybe I just misunderstood you... my Spanish is rusty j/k

just look it up on kbb with the milaga and over all condition, that will give you a ball park and pluss you can ask how many people looked at it and if there is a lot then he will probably get his price if not then you can probably talk him down

Demand? On newer cars less then 15 years old you go off blue book value, condition, mileage, etc. If you have a 99 Prelude appraised it will be for around blue book value. Now take a classic car. Many books show cars like mine as $15,000 as a condition #2 car, but are appraised for twice the value sometimes. Whether this is demand or not I dunno, but if someone is selling a newer car for above blue book thay are ripping you off. |

I have had people tell me that kbb is a crock of crap and I should go by the nada book.
