damn spam...who gets this one?

Who here gets email for those University Diplomas? I get at least one a week and no matter what I do I cannot get them to stop sending me spam.

I have called their phone number (long distance) and its only a recording for you to leave your own number. So I did, and a few days later they called me back. When I said "I want you to stop sending me email" they hung up faster than I hang up on telemarketers. Later that day I asked my phone comapny for the number of the person who called me at that time and said "These people are harassing me and I would like to call them and talk to an administrator" well obviously they told me that they couldnt do that.

I've done all kinds of research on this place (stiltskinmarooned is their group) and what I can come up with is a UK Phone number (011-40-723-984401) and eventually I found out its the DLCE (the Distance Learning Council of Europe) and the only contact info there is a fax (44(0)870-138-6297)...long distance...that and I dont have a fax machine

So if anyone has more info than I do...please let me know, 'cause Im getting really tired of getting their crap.

I get so much spam. On my yahoo account, I get about 200+ messages a day now. It is forcing me to move email addresses, and that's a HUGE PITA.

oh yeah i know thats always gonna happen but usually I can setup custom filters to block out stuff thats in the subject (like teen, boobs, xxx, etc) but these asses always put Re: in their subject so I cant stop them. Also they never have the same return address...or a real one for that matter.

The damn University Diploma place is the only one that I can't seem to get rid of...I feel defeated

What you could do is make all the e-mails that you want to go to a seperate folder...and leave the old one for all that spam shit...

I don't get sent any spam. I only get a few newsletters that I've signed up for.

i have two e-mail accounts,

a yahoo account for websites that ask me to register for something unimportant or sign up for things to get this thing to work or whatever, i get HELLA spam here.

and a hotmail account for all my serious stuff, this is the one i give all my friends and stuff like ebay or school stuff, very few spam mail shows up.

works for me!
