90 Civic Si VS. 91 Accord LX
My friend has a lowered 90 Civic Si Hatchback. It looks pretty tight but he thinks he can smoke me. He has an e/i and i just have intake. What are the specs on both of these cars? thx

both of them are slow and both of them have about 125hp. i know the accord has 140ft-lbs of tq

2291 lbs. (2441 lbs. with driver) 108hp @ 6000 rpm 100lb/ft @ 5000 rpm 7100rpm redline dont know about the 91 accord lx but i think the civic will take ur accord...juss my opinion though... |

yes, the are both stick....i can't believe you guys think he'll beat me? Either your accord is slower than mine or something weird is going on. I took him once earlier on, but we haven't raced lately cuz the conditions of the roads ar shit.

the accel isnt great on either car... but they're not sports cars so you can expect them to perform to that level... you know what im sayin

GRRR i beat him on normal conditions but he also had 17" rims..if that makes a difference...my car isn't that slow..it has lots of get up and go...i have beaten plenty of cars in my town...whatever..u all suck.jfwy

guys... this is a 90 civic SI... its not equiped with a good motor. he has more hp and LOTS more tq. i dont see th difficulties in seeing what car is faster. his car is probobly about the same speed as a new civic ex... i know for a fact the old civic si's arnt faster than the new ex... TQ TQ TQ TQ TQ. accord will win.
