i would go with viper. what kind of alarm are you looking for ? just a basic alarm, one that has a pager, one with remote start ?

alpine came to my mind, because thats what I have. Its a good basic alarm, and very easy to install. I didnt even have instructions or pinouts or anything. mine is an older 92 model, number i think is: 8030B
DO NOT GET those one peice units that supposedly monitor voltage drops in the battery. THey dont work. My friend armed his and opened his trunk. (trunk light comes on) It doesnt do anything. |

Crimestopper... pretty great and it's expandable, got it off ebay and installed it myself, if you don't have the technical know how, get someone else to do it!. haha.
Basically all car alarms are the same, they all have one thing in common - increases the time it takes for someone to steal your car. good luck@ |

Well I got a Viper alarm in my...........but you should also invest in something called Kill Switch or Fuel Cut Off Switch......they are both same thing......basically you have a switch installed anywhere in your car.....everytime you turn the car on you must press it or it won't start.....the fuel is cut of if you don't press the switch..
There are also different type of kill switches but the one I am talking about should run you for about 50 to 80 bucks I heard that saved few peoples cars around my hood ![]() ![]()

I have a codealarm, but I'd go with a Viper/Alpine if I did it again.
