what do you guys think?

I have a chance to buy a 93 Si for $2500, its 100% stock. The only thing is it has 190,000 miles on it It has lots of new parts, tires, gas tank, alt. ect ect, and only a small amount of surface rust. What do you think, seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I would do it bro. If its in good shape and it hasn't been fucked with it should last another 100k. so in the mean time u can do a swap.

the car is 11 years old and the cheapest car honda makes. I personally wouldnt do anything with it but drive it until it stops working. I wouldnt put a dime into it hell i wouldnt even change the oil

Any money put into that car is wasted... next to gas that is

Eh...I don't think I'd take it. 190K miles is pretty high, even for a Honda. I wouldn't even trust it as a daily driver. Plus you know that rust will just get worse.

mine just rolled over to 200,000 today on the testdrive back from the shop, and i am going to miss this car, my parents are giving me a 96 blazer that they acquired from a police/bank auction, i just have to return this car to stock as much as possible so know the fun begins!

but between the blazer (kbb 9962, and the civic kbb is 232), i will have enough for a lancer that i test drove and drove around for two weeks, 5 spd, and is the oz racing edition, so i cant wait!)

I'd get it if underbody and suspension is still decent. The reason being is that D-series motors are so cheap around here. I can get any Honda block (D or B) for $49.99 at my local boneyard.

I just got back from there a few hours ago and pulled off a full B18A swap which inlcude: block, head, IM with TB, alternator, distributor, fuel rail/injectors, A/C, and PS. All that shit come up $152 flat. We left the tranny alone since it was Auto. It was a 92 Teg completely stock with 111,xxx miles on it!

There were a few D15b there as well. It would've cost the same.

i was going to get a 2005 in august, but the dealer had a used 2004 with some extras, so i bought that one. two weeks later i was going through a green light and a lady ran a red and t-boned me, the car was totaled, and i was alright, and i just moved up to orlando and misplaced my camera, so i never took pics of the car, but i dont want to look at that car cause i could have lost my life if i didnt where a seatbelt
