Hello everyone

I started showing interest in buying and heavily modding a honda due to weight advantages.
I currently own a dodge stealth R/t and it is sucking the money out of me. It is a pretty rare car so parts are expensive and mods cost an arm and leg.

So I have a question to all of you honda lovers. How much should I expect to spend on mods to get a decent 11 second or so honda.

Is there a popular engine upgrade/conversion?

Like for us, 3s guys a twin turbo conversion is probably the key to speed. However, alternative uprgrades do exist.

Thanx in advance for replies

welcome to HST glad to have you aboard.....so coming to the Honda scene huh, thats cool. Well there is a couple of diff routes that you could take in what you want to accomplish.
you could get a 88-91 CRX/HB or 92-95 HB so that way you have a lighter ride. then swap in a DOHC(Dual Over Head Cam) and go w/ a turbo or super charger and possibly some NOS.
couple of diff DOHC setups you could do just a straight Vtec motor or non-Vtec or an LSVtec, which is a non-vtec block(Acura LS motor B18) and a Vtec head(Acura GSR B18c) Also known as a frankenstein swap.
you could also opt to PnP the head for better flow and intake manifold maybe even have the block internals alanced and blueprinted along w/ upgraded rods/pistons etc...
I do hope this and other info that the group here has can further assist you...
Might also help if you have a Particular Honda you want as then peopel can give you specific ideas for that model. Just my $.02 look forward to seeing you around..

Let me be the first to tell you that for an 11 second car, you will want something other than a Honda - not to burst your bubble, but its true.
