Tsk tsk. it all depends on the purpose. For basic internet, word processing, etc a PII350 is fine. For games, multimedia, programming, get all the power you can afford.

Yep. I have a DNS/Web/Terminal server that's a PII550 w/768MB RAM. Works great. Now try & play Unreal, Quake or Counter-Strike on that. Heh. Its a joke.
