Its not hard at all to remove the orange out fo the civics. I removed the orange piece out of my brothters 97 civic it was simple. I just threw it in the oven for like 2 min and then pulled teh lense apart. Just make sure when you take it off you put a nice bead of silicone down so that no moisture gets in it.
