A civic was designed to be an economy car. That is what makes it fun to build a true sports car out of them. You are taking something that was intended for good gas mileage and getting great horsepower, acceleration and handling out of it. I love that test where they ran a B18 Vtec powered lotus elise against a mustang cobra R in a ton of different tests. The lotus came out on top overall. What does that say about american muscle and displacement?
