if it says 17x7, then you have a 7" wheel. measuring through the spokes gives you the extra width, b/c their measurement is from lip to lip where the tire actually mounts (i think).

i'm not sure what the JJ stands for. maybe "these wheels are going to make your tires rub to death"? lol. i've seen companies that put some kind of code on the wheel that tells you the offset, composition, or finish of the wheel, but never anything like "JJ". have you tried emailing enkei yet?
