...i've used mobil supersyn drive-clean blend since i got my accord, but this week i switched to mobil 1 synthetic, which is truly amazing stuff.

were you using the castrol syntec for high mileage engines? i used that in my 94 camry (198k miles) with no problems.
also, does your car really require 20w50? my g/f has an 84 accord and it uses 10w30 or 5w30 (as does mine, which is a 99).
