you can't hit your max with an auto b/c it's located at such a high rpm. my car, for instance, has a stock max of 135hp @ 5050 RPM and 153 ft/lb of torque @ 3750 RPM. most autos shift somewhere around 3000rpm.

i think it all depends on how to drive your car dude, mine shifts anywhere i tell it too. Just gotta learn who to tell her gentally its all about how fast you put the gas down and if you hold i there, i can get my car to shift at any rpm with my auto.. maybe its just me though.
btw my tranny as Grade Logic Control wtf is that?
