Also if you're just bashing around, get a T-maxx. They are incredibly fun and can be upgraded like crazy. (www.maxxtraxx.com)
About the Rustler, I have one with probably $600+ into it, and its still not as nice as my Losi. If you go electric, plan on buying a GOOD charger and batteries. Well, I'm leaving on my trip now, so have fun
