Arite boys...so I cleared em yesterday...

Took longer than I expected, but it was worth it to have that annoying strip gone. However, it was not without incident, while separating the headlight housing, some silicone got on the chrome finish...let's just say that isn't the best quality stuff cuz as I wiped the silicone off, some of the finish rubbed off too!

Oh well, not too bad, (but it bugs me cuz I'm a perfectionist, hence all the questions before hand!

Anyway, for anyone who's planning on clearing their headlights, a lil advice.

First, having an extra pair of hands is a great help.
(I did it myself and it took me 7 hours, start to finish)

Second, be extra careful with the silicone, don't let it get on the light or the chrome. (Easier said than done)
